Update | 1:20pm Meta has resolved this morning's outage. They provided the following statement.
"Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services. We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience."
Grice Connect has been receiving messages about our readers not being able to log into Facebook or Instagram on Tuesday morning, March 4, 2024.
This does seem to be a global issue with Facebook.
Threads and WhatsApp are down as well.
Our team members were all logged out of Facebook and Instagram, and when we try to enter the password, it will not take it. Attempts to reset the passwords would not work as well.
Downdetector.com is reporting global issues with logging into Facebook and Instagram beginning around 10:00 AM on Tuesday morning.
Be patient and hopefully Facebook and Instagram will be back up soon.
