For more than a decade, The Hearts & Hands Clinic, Inc. has served as a free medical resource and a beacon of community support to hundreds of Bulloch County residents. The organization is seeking applicants for the role of Executive Director.

Founded in 2010, Hearts and Hands is a vibrant community organization that serves as a key resource for the Bulloch County residents who utilize its services.
The 501c3 nonprofit organization provides free medical and dental care to more than 500 residents of Bulloch County who are medically uninsured, ineligible for Medicaid and Medicare, and live at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.
The Executive Director’s primary responsibility is to oversee the daily operations of the clinic. This includes the management of staff (employees and volunteers), coordination of patient programs, and financial development to ensure the smooth operation of all Hearts & Hands activities. The ongoing responsibilities of the Executive Director include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage work schedules and duties of employees and volunteers. Meet with staff regularly to discuss clinic activities, outline new goals and procedures, and evaluate any deficiencies.
- Oversee the daily operation of the clinic and ensure the proper functioning of the various programs/clinics offered including regular communication with current service providers.
- Perform financial duties such as ensuring bills are paid on a timely basis, managing the annual budget, preparing monthly bank reconciliations, and tracking financial reports by grant.
- Oversee the fundraising program including managing annual fundraiser, pursuing new grant opportunities, and complying with grant requirements including accurate and timely reporting.
- Recruit new health providers for the medical and dental areas of service.
- Represent the clinic to the public and develop relationships in the community to increase the clinic’s visibility.
- Prepare regular reports for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in management or healthcare setting.
Salary Range: $40,000 - 50,000
