Esther's Place hosts grand opening for clothing boutique

Esther's Place had the official grand opening of their new location and their clothing boutique on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

On Saturday, March 15th, a cheerful crowd gathered at 217 Savannah Ave. in Statesboro to celebrate two remarkable milestones: the grand opening of Esther’s Place's new thrift boutique and three years of heartfelt ministry. The event ran from 10am to 2pm and was a resounding success, drawing visitors eager to explore the newly unveiled space.

Guests enjoyed browsing through an impressive array of unique thrift finds, savoring light refreshments, and mingling in a welcoming and lively atmosphere.

The grand opening was more than just a showcase of the boutique—it was a testament to the heart and community spirit that Esther’s Place has fostered over the years.

The upscale boutique boasts clothing, accessories, such as purses and hats, kitchenware, beautiful home decor items, and handmade crosses, which were created from tree bark. During the grand opening, visitors had the chance to take advantage of a special offer: filling a bag with clothing for $10. This provided an affordable way for attendees to choose items from the boutique’s selection while supporting the work of Esther’s Place.

Adding an extra sparkle to the celebration was Ava’s Lemonade for a Cause. Ava’s homemade lemonade, known not only for its refreshing taste but also for its meaningful mission, was a highlight of the event. Proceeds from her lemonade sales supported her fundraising efforts for Alzheimer’s research, making her booth a must-visit for attendees. Ava’s passion and determination to make a difference inspired everyone present.

The day was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and a shared appreciation for the journey and future of Esther’s Place. The grand opening stood as a poignant reminder of the impact a dedicated community and a common purpose can achieve together.

You can visit the Esther's Place Thrift Shop at 217 Savannah Ave., Tuesday-Friday from 10am-4pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Every purchase directly supports Esther’s Place Women's Ministry, helping women and children in need. You can learn more about their mission here.
