EMC Engineering Services, Inc. receives formal house resolution in honor of 45 years of service

EMC Engineering Services, Inc. celebrated its 45th anniversary with a special presentation of House Resolution 1320 from the Georgia House of Representatives, recognizing the company's significant contributions to the community and its commitment to excellence in engineering and surveying.

EMC Engineering Services, Inc. (EMC) was presented with House Resolution 1320 on September 18 to commemorate its 45th anniversary in our region by the Georgia House of Representatives. The company celebrated this honor with a formal presentation at their corporate office in Savannah, GA to round out 45th-anniversary festivities.

“Since the beginning, EMC has aimed to provide excellent customer service, mentor professionals, and assist our clients achieve their construction goals,” said EMC CEO and Chairman of the Board, Charles E. Perry, Jr., PE LEED AP. "We are honored to be recognized by the state of Georgia for our community contributions thus far and look forward to all the future partnerships to come in the next 45 years.”

Incorporated in November of 1978, EMC has grown from a small team of three in Savannah, Georgia to a team of over 125 professionals spanning across 10 branches in in the southeast. EMC’s growth and sustainability over its 45 years of history is a testament to their dedication to investing in their team’s professional growth and advancement while fostering relationships through client-centered engineering and surveying solutions.

“It is unbelievable how this community has changed since 1978 and even more so just in the last 20 years, so I appreciate what (EMC) does,” said Representative Jesse Petrea. “Georgia is the #1 state in the country to do business with…and we want local firms doing these projects. We are growing exponentially like never before… and I appreciate that (EMC) is doing that good work.”

“When I left in 2004, we had a two-year period trying to find the next CEO (before) turning it over to Chuck Perry. Most second-tier leaders and officers don’t succeed… but the leadership speaks for itself. I made the right choice and I’m happy for EMC.” Said Founder and Former CEO, Larry Stuber.
