The Georgia Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Division of Family and Children Services has issued a final round of P-EBT benefits to SNAP-enrolled children ages 0-5 and those five years of age who turned six during the covered period of January-May 11, 2023. To be eligible, children had to be receiving SNAP benefits during these months.
Families with eligible children will receive $27.09 per child for each month their child received SNAP benefits during the covered period of January through April 2023 and $13.55 for May 1-11, 2023.
The P-EBT benefits were issued on the household’s current EBT card if the child is currently receiving SNAP. Those who no longer receive SNAP had the benefits loaded onto their household’s previous EBT card. If a new EBT card is needed, please visit connectebt.com/gaebtclient or call 888-421-3281. Although children under age six in SNAP households are not eligible for summer P-EBT benefits due to federal changes, DHS continues to work with partners on ways to maintain and increase children’s access to nutritious meals.
