Holiday travel relief
Circle K convenience stores provided a little holiday travel relief on Thursday by lowering gas prices .40 per gallon for three hours, from 4pm to 7pm.
They marketed it to their Circle K fuel card members as Circle K Fuel Day. They encouraged their customers to celebrate the long holiday weekend with huge savings at the pumps.
Long lines were reported at both Statesboro locations of Circle K during the three hours of the discounted gas prices.
Customers at the Circle K located at 530 Fair Road paid $2.68 per gallon with cash or Circle K card or $2.78 with credit card.
Circle K customers paid $2.67 with cash or Circle K card or $2.77 with a credit card at the 1088 South Main location.
