The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce has officially opened registration for the 2025 Catalyst Business Summit, scheduled for Wednesday, May 21 in Downtown Springfield. This high-impact, one-day event will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and civic stakeholders from across Southeast Georgia for a full day of bold ideas, meaningful connections, and forward momentum.
Hosted at the historic MARS Theater and surrounding venues, Catalyst is the region’s only summit dedicated to leadership, innovation, and business growth—drawing participants from Effingham and neighboring counties.
“We’re not just hosting another conference,” said Chamber President & CEO Susan Kraut. “Catalyst is designed to re-energize business leaders, fuel creative thinking, and build real connections across our regional economy. It’s bold, forward-thinking, and grounded in the power of community.”
This year’s keynote speaker is Steve Carse, Co-Founder of the iconic King of Pops and author of Work Is Fun. What began as a pushcart in Atlanta has evolved into one of the South’s most recognizable brands—celebrated not just for its treats, but for its purpose-driven culture and community impact.
Carse will open the day with a Think Talk keynote and return in the afternoon to lead an interactive breakout session, offering attendees a mix of inspiration and tactical insight from one of the region’s most dynamic entrepreneurs.
The program will also feature a curated lineup of presenters and breakout leaders representing a diverse mix of industries and perspectives. From cutting-edge technology to workplace culture and regional development, Catalyst attendees can expect a full slate of thought-provoking voices and unexpected insights designed to spark action and challenge conventional thinking.
In addition to registration, sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses seeking meaningful visibility throughout the event. Packages range from the exclusive Presenting Sponsorship to Partner, Innovation, and Engagement tiers, each offering brand exposure across print, digital, on-site signage, and curated activations.
“This is a great opportunity for organizations that want to champion leadership and growth in our region,” Kraut added. “For companies investing in emerging talent or looking to strengthen their brand presence, Catalyst offers a uniquely impactful platform.”
Early bird registration is now open at www.effinghamcounty.com, with discounted rates available for a limited time.
