Bulloch County Schools released the following message this morning.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. on April 10, during Bulloch County Schools’ morning bus routes, a high school student jumped from the back of a moving school bus. The bus was traveling at a speed of approximately 5 mph at the time.
After jumping from the bus, the student fled on foot from the scene but was quickly located and is now with their parent.
Emergency medical services and law enforcement responded. No injuries were reported.
