Christmas is fast approaching! Only two more weekends before the big jolly day! Take a little bit of time this weekend to relax and enjoy some local events before the days turn into one big Christmas blur!

TMT Farms Christmas Light Drive Thru

Interested in a drive thru Christmas Wonderland? Head out to TMT Farms for their annual Christmas Light Drive Thru! The show runs from 6:00 pm - 12:00 am every evening until December 26th. There is no cost to get in, however, they do accept cash donations, non-perishable foods, new unwrapped toys and pet food/supplies. These items are used to help those in the community in various ways. 

 

 

The Harlem Globe Trotters World Tour

Interested in catching a fun and interesting show this weekend? Statesboro's very own Hanner Fieldhouse will host special guests, The Harlem Globe Trotters, on Friday, December 15th.. The world-famous team takes the court at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the show can be purchased here. Admission begins at $37. Additional experiences are available such as a Magic Pass - Pre-show event, Celebrity Court Pass and the Harlem Globe Trotters VIP Bench Experience. 

 

 

Kids DIY - U Workshop

Are your little elves getting anxious for Christmas? Lowe's is hosting a Kids DIY - U Workshop! This gives children the chance to make a Holiday Deliver Truck! This piece also doubles as a gift card holder. What is more perfect than giving dad a gift card to Lowe's? Giving dad a gift card in a handmade project! The workshop starts at 10: 00 am Saturday, December 16th and will run until 1:00 pm. This is a free event for children.

 

 

Steam Stampede 

Harlem Globe Trotter wasn't enough excitement for you? Check out the Steam Stampede Saturday, December 16th at 6:00 pm. The Steam Stampede is an all you can eat pizza and drink dinner show to raise money for the Toys for Tots foundation. This event will feature a guest appearance of former WWE wrestler Lacey Evans. Adults are $15. Children 10 and under are $10. The Steam Stampede is locate at the Steam Academy on Northside Drive. 

 

 

Collective and Vine Opening

Are you almost finished with your Christmas shopping but still looking for those couple of last minute finds? The Collective and Vine is celebrating their Grand Opening Sunday, December 17th from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Items found in the Collective are from local vendors and include an array of goodies like household items, clothing, accessories and so much more! Come out and support this new local business located on West Main Street! You never know what you may find!
