Agatha Christie's thrilling mystery A Murder is Announced comes to life in a live theater production at the Averitt Center for the Arts this February, co-directed by Brooks & Danielle Adams.
In the sleepy town of Chipping Cleghorn, an announcement is printed in the local paper stating the time and place when a murder will occur. The victim is an unexpected and unknown visitor to Miss Blacklock's Victorian house.
What follows the announcement is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death, and a determined inspector grimly following the case's twists and turns. Fortunately, Miss Marple is on hand to provide the solution at some risk to herself in a dramatic final reveal.
