Bulloch County voters sent a message on election day that they want a change.
In what proved to be a difficult night for incumbents, the only incumbent to win outright was Noel Brown, Bulloch County Sheriff.
- Incumbent District Attorney Daphne Totten was defeated by Robert Busbee.
- David Bennett defeated Roy Thompson to become the next Chairman of the Bulloch County Commission.
- Ray Davis defeated Curt Deal for County Commission District 2A
- Jennifer Mock defeated Susan Hallman for BOE District 3
- Lisha Nevil defeated Heather Mims for BOE District 7
Jappy Stringer Commissioner 2C will face Nick Newkirk in a run off on June 18th.
Craig Tremble won the Democratic primary for Coroner and will now challenge Chuck Francis on November 4th.
Liz Johnson was leading in the Democratic primary for U.S. Congress District 12 and will challenge Rick Allen on November 4th.
Sheila Wentz won Brooklet City Council Post 5 election.
