Statesboro High School student, Isabella Halaby, has been selected to serve as a participant in the Colony Leadership Academy.
Students from all of Georgia gather and enjoy getting to know one another and through exchange of ideas and experiences. They gain knowledge and understanding on crucial issues facing the community, while also attaining leadership skills.
Participants also develop a network of relationships with other leaders of various backgrounds throughout Georgia through the mentorship program.
This professional leadership curriculum is achieved through an eleven-month program of structured activity where students become familiar with all aspects of our community. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a $1,000 scholarship to the college/university of their choice. Colony Leadership Academy utilizes professional leadership trainers through UGA’s Fanning Institute.
