Franklin’s Farmstand, founded in 2017 by Joe Franklin and Bill Renz, began as a humble citrus farm dedicated to bringing fresh, high-quality produce to their local community. Initially offering only citrus, they quickly realized the demand for a greater variety of farm-fresh options. Responding to their neighbors' desires, they expanded their offerings to include seasonal fruits, vegetables, and locally made products.
Driven by his passion for providing fresh, quality produce, Joe says the joy of supplying his community is more rewarding than anything money could buy. He firmly believes that local agriculture strengthens and unites communities, providing a chance for people to reconnect with the land and experience the full cycle of food production.
Bill echoes this sentiment, emphasizing that farming not only supports local economies but fosters a sense of camaraderie and food security. He believes in the power of agriculture to bring people together, creating stronger bonds and sustainable food systems.
