Population Served: Low income residents of Bulloch County
Programs & Services: Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian ministry that is dedicated to helping low-income families become stronger, more stable, and self-reliant through shelter. We do this by building homes using volunteer labor with donated or discounted materials and by providing low-income homebuyers a low- or no-interest mortgage. All homeowners work alongside Habitat staff and volunteers to build their home.
Eligibility: Live or work in Bulloch County for the twelve months prior to application. Be in need of adequate housing. Be willing to partner with Habitat on their own and others’ houses. Complete sweat equity. Be able to pay for a low- or no-interest mortgage, based on credit and income.
