PLAYGROUND ATTENDANT: JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join the team at Kidding Around as a Playground Attendant. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the well-being and enjoyment of children in a fun and dynamic environment
Responsibilities:
• Daily cleaning/sanitizing of facilities before, during and after playground bookings (this could include drop in play, birthday parties, camps, programs etc.)
• Organize and return toys/materials to their designated areas.
• Re-stock café as needed
• Respond to inquiries regarding bookings, protocols and general information. These could be via phone, email or in person.
• Complete party bookings and upload information into our digital calendar and our customer database
• Enforce playground rules and regulations
• Ensure safety protocols and facility rules are followed by guests
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
• Complete up to date police clearance including a vulnerable sector search (if 18+)
• Outgoing personality with a passion for interacting with children of varying ages and abilities.
• Basic computer skills (you will be required to use our digital calendar, respond to emails, and process transactions using our point-of-sale system)
• Excellent customer service skills, independent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
• Ability to enforce rules in a positive, constructive and professional manner
• Prior experience working with children preferred.

• Job Type: Part Time Permanent
• Expected Hours: 10-16hrs/week
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
