First Baptist Church of Statesboro partners with Kiwanis to serve lunch to Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair workers

At the Kiwanis Fairgrounds on Tuesday, October 15th, fair workers were treated to a hearty meal of steak, sides, and dessert prepared by First Baptist Church of Statesboro.

Robbie Norman, Discipleship Pastor at First Baptist Church of Statesboro says, “As a thank you for making the fair a great experience, we at First Baptist Church Statesboro partner with the Kiwanis to provide a hearty meal for the fair workers.”

The Pancake House was filled with workers enjoying the meal that First Baptist Church had prepared. 

Norman shared, “FBC also gives pillows and blankets to fair workers, as we are entering into the cooler weather season."

After the fair workers ate, they lined up by the First Baptist Church bus where pillows and blankets donated by church members were to distributed by FBC members. 

Norman says, "All of this is a tangible way to express our love and appreciation.”
