Georgia Mae Raymond Lundy

Mrs. Georgia Mae Raymond Lundy, age 80, departed this life on Friday, November 11, 2022, at her residence.

The native of Statesboro was the daughter of the late Georgie and Louella Joyce Latimore.

She received her formal education in the public school system of Bulloch County and was a graduate of the William James High School.

Mrs. Lundy was a retired cook and a C.N.A. She was a former employee of the Nightingale Nursing Home.

She was a member of the Whitesville Full Gospel Worship Center.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her siblings, Evelyn Johnson, Lucille Riggs Chatham, Edna Mae Seabrooks and Bernese Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her two children, Weldon (Teresa) Raymond and Pamela Raymond, both of Statesboro, Georgia; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A walk-through viewing for Mrs. Lundy, will be held 4 pm to 7 pm, Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Hill's Mortuary, Inc.

The funeral service for Mrs. Georgia Mae Lundy, will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the Whitesville full Gospel Worship Center, with Bishop Larry Jones, presiding and Pastor Gwendolyn Jones, eulogist. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church.

Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
