Southeast Georgia weekly traffic interruption advisory

Next week, the Georgia Department of Transportation will be continuing with road work projects that may cause traffic interruptions.

Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.

Next week, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will be continuing with essential road work projects as a result of the construction, traffic may be interrupted from Oct. 1 through Oct. 7.

All project timelines are subject to weather or other factors.

Motorists are asked to reduce their speed while traveling thru work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.

Interstate 95

I-95 in McIntosh County
Champney R. Bridge to Darien R. Bridge
Lane closures for bridge maintenance and rehabilitation
Monday to Thursday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Weekends from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday
