The fishing tournament will be free for children ages 5-15 and will be taking place at Mill Creek Regional Park Pond on Oct. 1

The 2022 Bulloch Bass Club Youth Fishing Tournament will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8am to 11am at the Mill Creek Park Pond. Registration begins at 7am.

This is the 16th annual rodeo, presented by the Bulloch Bass Club and the Bulloch County Recreation and Parks department.

The tournament will be free for all children ages 5-15. Registration will begin at 7am the morning of the tournament.

Each child must be accompanied by an adult. In addition, all children must provide their own fishing equipment and bait.

Each annual tournament, including this year's, includes the following highlights:

  • Tagged fish worth $50
  • A tournament weigh-in where first, second, and third place receive trophies and rod/reel combos
  • Prize draw for bicycles
  • Every child participating in the tournament wins a prize!
  • Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided for each child that enters the fishing tournament.
