Mrs. Sarah L. Coleman

August 25, 1933 - July 18, 2022

STATESBOORO,GA: Our hearts are broken as we remember Sarah L Coleman who fell asleep in death on July 18, 2022, at  East Georgia Regional Medical Center, with her immediate family by her side.  Sarah was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses.

Born on August 25, 1933 in Soperton, Georgia to David and Lula Christian, who were both cooks at Georgia Southern University when it was Georgia Nursing School.  Sarah spent many years in New York, Germany and California before settling down in Statesboro, Georgia where she was a active member of the Statesboro North Congregation until her death.

Sarah never met a stranger and took every opportunity she had to preach, teach and speak about Jehovah. She introduced many of her friends and family to Jehovah and was able to see some of them baptized including her two daughters, Jennifer Mingas and Debra Tremble, grandson, Antoine Wooten and his wife Valyncia Wooten and granddaughter, Tevia Tremble.

Sarah is survived by her four children, daughter and caregiver, Jennifer Mingas, daughter Debra tremble, sons, Keith Lanier and Johnathan Lanier all of Statesboro; 12 grandchildren, over 15 great grandchildren , a host of nieces, nephews, and over 8 million brothers and sisters.

Arrangements for Mrs. Coleman are incomplete and will be announced later.
