Back to School in Bulloch County: Important dates and school supply lists

It's almost time to go back to school in Bulloch County! Grice Connect has compiled all the important dates, information, and supply lists you'll need to get ready for a great year. Public, charter, and private schools are included.

Open House

Bulloch County Schools' elementary, middle and high schools will host open houses on Thursday, July 28. Elementary Open House is from 4 to 6 p.m., middle and high school Open Houses are from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Transitions Learning Center will host its Open House from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., and the Virtual Learning Program Open House will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Transitions Learning Center.

Open House is a great time to meet your child's teachers and school staff, pick up school supply lists and other important information, sign up to volunteer for your child's school, and see your child's classrooms.

If your child is entering pre-kindergarten, sixth grade, or ninth grade, your school may also host a separate grade-level open house. If they do, the school will communicate with you.

First Day of School, Start Times, Bus Stops, and Academic Calendar

All Bulloch County schools will begin on Monday, August 1. The Bulloch County Board of Education provides all start and end times for the school day here.
