Statesboro Police Foundation holds inaugural barbecue cook off

Pit masters to put their meats to the test a few Saturdays ago in a barbecue cook-off hosted by the Statesboro Police Officer Foundation at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds. The event featured musical guests Miranda Winter, School of Rock and The Ripleys.

Pit masters to put their meats to the test a few Saturdays ago in a barbecue cook-off hosted by the Statesboro Police Officer Foundation at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds.

The event featured musical guests Miranda Winter, School of Rock and The Ripleys.

Winners took home trophies and cash rewards. The proceeds from the cook off were to benefit the foundation.
