Nomination

His nominator wrote, “Bryan has demonstrated the character and qualities that you look for in both a leader and employee; his proven knowledge and skills not only directed his own growth, but fostered trust with his EGRMC patients, coworkers, and physicians.”

Realiza’s maturity and composure under pressure earned him the opportunity to land his current position as the Centers of Excellence Accreditation Manager at EGRMC. He has helped EGRMC to earn several accolades including Chest Pain Center Accreditation through the American College of Cardiology, as well as a Primary Stroke Center Certification and GOLD PLUS Stroke Center designation.

“Bryan is a great example of everything the Distinguished Alumni Award stands for – success in the workplace, dedication to community growth, and passion for technical education,” said OTC president, Lori Durden. “We are proud to recognize him as an alumnus of Ogeechee Technical College and to present him with this year’s award.”

Realiza’s involvement and accolades go well beyond the workplace. He has served on OTC’s Echocardiography Advisory Board, the Statesboro Family YMCA Board, is a 4-time winner of Dancing with the Statesboro Stars, was selected as one of Statesboro Herald’s “20 Under 40” in 2018 and is a member of the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce Leadership Bulloch class of 2022.

Each year the Distinguished Alumni award is presented to an Ogeechee Tech alum who graduated at least ten years prior, is making outstanding contributions and excelling in their chosen fields, who is giving back to their community, and is dedicated to the advancement of the College.
