Palmetto Scribe Finalist visiting Galactic Comics and Games

Galactic Comics is proud to host YBR Publishing fantasy and “Oz universe” author Ron Baxley, Jr. is one of five finalists in the Best Novel/Novella Category for the 2022 Palmetto Scribe Awards at Atomacon.

He will be attending Free Comic Book Day at Galactic Comics and Games in Statesboro on Saturday, May 7 to sign and sell books, including his finalist title, and to sign original graphic novel art from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Author Ron Baxley, Jr. is shown with Ziggy Elf Corgi near his author table at his last book signing at The Beaufort Bookstore in Beaufort, S.C. He will also be attending SpringFest in Port Royal, S.C. as a guest author on Saturday, April 30 and will be a guest author with Ziggy Elf Corgi at Free Comic Book Day at Galactic Comics and Games on E. Vine in Statesboro on Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Ziggy Elf Corgi will also be in attendance. Ziggy is the nine-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi that Ron’s graphic novel series is based upon. Ron adopted Ziggy when the Corgi was one year old.

On early Saturday, April 23, Baxley, Jr. promoted Free Comic Book Day at the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market.

He looks forward to seeing new and old faces at Galactic Comics for Free Comic Book Day on May 7.
