NAACP hosts Bulloch Commissioner and BOE meet and greets

With early voting beginning Monday, May 2 the Bulloch NAACP believes it to be beneficial for community members to have an additional opportunity the meet candidates running for the Bulloch County Board of Education and Board of Commissioners.

With early voting beginning Monday, May 2 the Bulloch NAACP believes it to be beneficial for community members to have an additional opportunity the meet candidates running for the Bulloch County Board of Education and Board of Commissioners. 

They are hosting two Meet and Greets with local candidates at the Historic Statesboro Inn, 106 S. Main Street, in downtown Statesboro. The public is invited to attend both events.

On Monday, May 2, 2022, candidates for the Bulloch County Board of Commissioners will share at 6:00pm.

The following evening,  Tuesday,  May 3, 2022, candidates for the Bulloch County Board of Education will share. Both evenings will convene at 6:00pm.

They will be asking Candidates to share their vision for the future of Bulloch County.  Additionally,  they will pose questions concerning what our citizens believe are the most important issues facing our County and schools giving the candidates an opportunity to publicly respond about how they will approach critical issues.

Early Voting has began

Early voting for the upcoming general primary/non-partisan/special election will begin on Monday, May 2, 2022. The public should be aware of several changes to Georgia voting regulations that are now in place. These changes are the result of Georgia Senate Bill 202, which was passed in 2021.

Bulloch County Elections Supervisor Shontay Jones highlighted the most important changes for Grice Connect readers.
