Lehman Franklin III was the only candidate to officially qualify for the ballot for House District 160 to replace Representative Jan Tankersley who is retiring this year. He will automatically serve as the District 160 representative when the new term begins in 2023.

“Today, I am proud to announce that I am the only candidate to qualify for the ballot in 160th Georgia State House District.  Representing the people of Bryan and Bulloch counties is the honor of a lifetime.  It is not a role that I take lightly and promise to serve the community with honor, distinction, and integrity," said Lehman Franklin III. "While I am the only candidate to qualify, I will continue my campaign to earn the support of all residents of the 160th House District. Each day I will fight for the people of our community to have good paying jobs, lower taxes, increase education opportunities and protect our farmers while continuing to facilitate economic growth.”

Lehman Franklin announced his candidacy to represent Georgia’s 160th House district following the announcement of the retirement of current Representative Jan Tankersley at the end of her term.
