Statesboro Mayor, Council election and liquor vote Tuesday

Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM for the municipal election in Statesboro, Brooklet, Register and Portal. For Statesboro and Register citizens will vote on the approval of package sales of liquor inside the respective city limits.

Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM for the municipal election in Statesboro, Brooklet, Register and Portal.

For Statesboro and Register citizens will vote on the approval of package sales of liquor inside the respective city limits.

The Bulloch County Board of Election supervisor, Shontay Jones and her staff have been contracted by the cities of Statesboro, Register and Portal to handle the municipal election.

Lori Phillips, Brooklet City Clerk will handle the Brooklet election. Early voting will be at Brooklet City Hall.

Poll locations:

Statesboro

City Precinct 1 - William James Educational Complex, Bulloch Board of Education office, 150 Williams Road. City Council Districts 1 and 2.

City Precinct 2 - Pittman Park United Methodist Church, 1102 Fair Road. City Council Districts 3, 4 and 5.

Brooklet

Brooklet Recreation Building, 416 Cromley Road Extension North.

Portal

Aaron Worship Center, 351 North Grady Street, Portal.

Register

Register Baptist Church, 10 Church Street, Register.
