One lucky person will even get a shot to win one million dollars at the tournament.

The golf tournament is hosted by the SHS Blue Devil Golf Team and the Statesboro High School Golf Boosters. This is the 2nd annual Family Fundraiser Classic.

Coach Chad Farrell likes to start the year off with a bit of fun for a great cause.

The golfers will enjoy a Chick-fil-a chicken biscuit and coffee while loosening up on the range before the shotgun start at 10:00 am.

In addition to supporting these young athletes and having a great day on the GSU Golf Course, golfers will have a chance to win some cash along with other great prizes.

“It is just a fun way to start the year,” says SHS Golf head coach Chad Farrell. "There is still time to sign up and partake in the fun. We need your support. All of the proceeds from the fundraiser golf tournament helps offset expenses for the golf team all year. This includes travel, practice and playing fees."

The top three teams will win cash prizes. There are also chances to win great prizes on every par three including a brand new car courtesy of Franklin Chevrolet.

Registration remains open. So, if you think you and your partner are game for the two man scramble event please email Coach Chad Farrell at cfarrell@bullochschools.org.

The cost is $140 per two person team.
