Dollar Tree has started renovations on the former Fred's on Northside Drive West. This will be their third location in Statesboro.
Based on city permits the estimated construction value of the renovation of the 16,854 square foot store is $286, 481.
The new store will be much larger than the other two stores in Statesboro. In fact, it will be larger than most of their stores.
Their average store size is approximately 10,000 gross sq. ft. with at least 70 ft. of store frontage.
Dollar Tree, Inc., operating under both the Dollar Tree and Family Dollar brand, is a leading operator of discount variety stores that has served North America for more than thirty years.
They currently operate two stores in Statesboro, one on Northside Drive East and one in the College Plaza shopping center.
In addition, there are two Family Dollar stores in Statesboro. The original store is located on Northside Drive West and the newest store in on the Veterans Memorial Parkway.
