Update: 7/5 7:30 am: The GBI has confirmed to numerous media outlets there are multiple fatalities in this shooting.
Bulloch County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to a shooting in Lundy's Trailer Park on Miller Street Extension around 7:00 PM, Sunday, July 4, 2021.
Multiple Ambulances were dispatched to the scene along with Bulloch County Sheriff and Statesboro Police Department's Special Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T) along with K-9 units.
Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown confirmed there were multiple victims from a shooting. Because of the number of victims they have requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Sheriff Brown did not believe anyone else is in danger at this time. They are still attempting to process the scene and will release more details as soon as possible.
