Who said going back to school couldn't be fun?
Kids can have fun playing games and riding horses while getting free school supplies and vaccines at a "Back 2 School Block Party" this Saturday hosted by the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce.
Festivities will begin July 24th from 8 a.m. to noon at the Chamber’s old location, 102 S. Main St.
The Back to School Block Party is a free event for the public to showcase a “Vaccine Clinic” to vaccinate the youths before school. The Pfizer and Johnson&Johnson vaccines will be available to those 12 years and up.
There will be free school supplies, food, games and horse riding, with vendors, music and giveaways.
Statesboro New Covenant Church will provide children's activities and information about upcoming youth conferences and services.
