Chloe Moon Dart

The 2021 Chloe Moon Dart Memorial Scholarship awardees are:

Kiley Burgess Sallie Zetterower Elementary

Tabitha Smith, Nevils Elementary

Cassidy Rae Wamba, Mattie Lively Elementary

These fourth graders were awarded full tuition and expenses for the Summer Camp of their choice.

Chloe’s mother, Consuela Brown, has organized scholarships in Chloe’s memory each year since Chloe’s death from a horseback riding accident.

“It’s important to me and Chloe’s family to keep her legacy going each year with these scholarships. Chloe loved art and this is the best way I can think of to honor her life,” said Brown.

Chloe was 10 years old and attending 4th grade at Sallie Zetterower Elementary School when she was tragically killed in 2013.

This year’s scholarships are sponsored by:

  • Chloe’s mom Consuela Brown,
  • Chloe’s father Jerome Dart, and
  • The Mad Potter Garden Center, which is owned and operated by Chloe’s maternal grandparents
