WSAV to Stream all Bulloch County High School Graduation Ceremonies

The Bulloch County Board of Education, Bulloch County Schools, and the school district's three high schools (Portal High School, Statesboro High School & Southeast Bulloch High School) are pleased to host commencement ceremonies for more than 670 graduates and their families.

Seating for each graduation will be at 100 percent capacity.  A ticket is required for entry.  Each graduate was issued a set number of tickets to provide to their invited guests.

Portal High School valedictorian is Dylan Swisher and salutatorian for Portal High is Madison Smith. Statesboro High School's valedictorian is Kevin Davoud and salutatorian is David Lippincott. The valedictorian for Southeast Bulloch High School is Kai Owens and salutatorian is Hannah Parsons.

Each graduation will be live streamed in its entirety by WSAV.  These can be viewed live or rewatched for a limited time after the ceremonies.  Visit WSAV, our school district website, or the Bulloch County Schools Facebook page for the live streams and replays.

Weather advisory:  All ceremonies are outside.  While there is not rain in the forecast for any of the ceremonies, it will be extremely hot this week with temperatures of at least 90 degrees at 7 p.m. To help prevent any heat-related health conditions, remember to wear cool, comfortable clothing and remain hydrated. 

These events are scheduled to take place at these scheduled times; however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, details regarding the ceremonies are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances that may be out of the school district's control, or as they consider additional safety measures.
