In an abundance of caution, Bulloch County Schools will dismiss all schools and offices early for students and employees on Thursday, March 18, due to possible severe weather in our area tomorrow afternoon. All after school activities are cancelled for Thursday.

Bulloch County Schools are open half-day, but parents can make the best attendance decisions for their family.

For young bus riders, they will follow parents’ designated choices, so ensure you have a plan.

These dismissal times accommodate bus routes and allow children to receive breakfast and lunch:

·         Transitions Learning Center 10 a.m.

·         All elementary schools 11 a.m.

·         Cedarwood and Portal Middle High School 11:15 a.m.

·         Statesboro High, William James, and Langston Chapel Middle Schools 11:45 a.m.

·         Southeast Bulloch’s middle and high School 12 noon.

The National Weather Service has advised the potential for tornadoes, hail and wind gusts of over 58 miles per hour.

Please keep lines of communication open and be alert for any additional information.
