WHAT: Georgia Southern University will celebrate Arbor Day by planting trees on campus, including one live oak, one maple, 50 dogwoods and 50 redbuds. There will also be remarks from Vice President for Student Affairs Shay Little, Ph.D.

WHEN: Friday, March 5, 10 a.m.

WHERE: Remarks will be made on Sweetheart Circle, outside of Sanford Hall on the Statesboro Campus, and trees will be planted along the Herty Pines Nature Preserve trail behind Brannen Hall and around Sweetheart Circle.
