"Devotion" Military plane flyovers will take place Friday night, March 19 between the hours of 5:30 pm to 7:30 PM. The set will be active at the airport with filming on the grounds till midnight. However, the only formations or flyovers should occur between those times.

“The filming of this movie is a dynamic benefit to tourism in Bulloch County,” says County Manager Tom Couch. “With the additional revenue this generates, we hope make future facility improvements to the airport that will lead to an increase in economic development in the County.”

The set is closed to the public due to COVID and safety issues. The airport has issued a NOTAM (A Notice To Airmen) through the FAA which requires aircraft wanting to land or takeoff from the Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport to give a two hour notice prior to a take off or landing.

The NOTAM began March 17 and will end on April 7, 2021. It is in effect Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8:30 pm. Friday night, March 19 it will extend until midnight for "Devotion" Military Plane Flyovers. The movie company is compensating the airport for use of the facility and for the inconvenience caused by the filming.
