2021 EGSC Homecoming King & Queen Announced

East Georgia State College named the 2021 Homecoming Court last week. The announcement was made during a virtual crowning event held in the EGSC auditorium. The event was streamed live on the EGSC Facebook page and each representative was featured.

East Georgia State College named the 2021 Homecoming Court last week. The announcement was made during a virtual crowning event held in the EGSC auditorium. The event was streamed live on the EGSC Facebook page and each representative was featured.

Precious Coleman from Eastman, Ga, was named the 2021 Homecoming Queen. She was representing the African American Union (AAU) Club. First runner-up was Esperanza “Espi” Castro, a sophomore representing the women’s basketball team. Second runner-up was Alexis Lundy. Lundy was representing the Student Government Association. Other representatives included Kenesia Crowley representing Resident Assistance, Chelsea Godwin representing the Art Club, and Shantel Tracy representing the Unity Club.

Elijah Worthen, a sophomore from Garfield, Ga, was named the 2021 Homecoming King. He was representing the African American Union (AAU) Club. First runner-up was Kevin Hunter who represented the Student Government Association. Second runner-up was Alexander Archie. Archie represented the Criminal Justice Club.

Last year’s EGSC Homecoming Queen Ashanti Whitehead and King Tobias Lester attended the ceremony to assist with the crowning.
