Tate Law Group is inviting area families in need to come drive thru the 1st Annual Great Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway and receive a free whole frozen turkey and fresh produce.

On Tuesday, November 24th starting at 12:00 noon, Tate Law Group will distribute 200 frozen whole turkeys to the first 200 families who drive thru the Great Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway at Memorial Stadium,  101 John J. Scott Drive, Savannah.

In addition to the turkey giveaway, Healthy Savannah and the YMCA of Coastal Georgia’s Savannah/Chatham H.O.P.E. Project will be providing fresh produce to all recipients. This as a result of funding from the Center of Disease Control’s REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health) Grant, where they work to eliminate barriers and lack of access to healthy food options through culturally appropriate policies and programs.

Mark Tate of Tate Law Group says we need to come together as a community – now more than ever to help families in need. Tate Law Group wanted to come up with a way to ensure families who need it most have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.  So, we decided to create the 1st Annual Great Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway.

“Tate Law Group knows the importance of family — especially during these uncertain times. The COVID-19 pandemic has kept many of us in our homes and something as simple as shopping for a healthy Thanksgiving dinner isn’t possible right now. Many families can’t afford to purchase a turkey or fresh vegetables.  This is a way for Tate Law Group to help bring Thanksgiving cheer and a healthy meal to 200 families who need it most.  We are so grateful to have the help of Chatham County, the Chatham County Police Department, as well as Healthy Savannah and the YMCA of Coastal Georgia’s Savannah/Chatham H.O.P.E. Project team up with us to provide fresh produce and facilitate this event.

The Tate Law Group Great Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway Drive-Thru will happen on Tuesday, November 24th starting at 12:00 noon at Memorial Stadium.  The first 200 families to drive thru will receive a frozen turkey and fresh produce to take home to prepare for Thanksgiving.  Children are also welcome and will receive a special gift just for them handed out by our Turkey Mascot.
