Runnoff Election Tuesday, August 11th Polls open from 7 AM to 7 PM

Voters who have not already voted in person during the three weeks of early voting or by absentee ballot will have one final chance on Tuesday, August 11 th to cast their vote. The polls open 7 a.m. and remain open to 7 p.m.

Due to air-conditioning issues the Fair Precinct has been temporarily relocated to the Bulloch County Center for Agriculture at 151 Langston Chapel Road.

Three precincts that were moved to larger buildings for the June 9 primary will remain in those locations.

On the ballot Tuesday:

Scott Bohlke and Billy Hickman who are running for District 4 State Senate to replace the late Jack Hill.  They will be on the Republican ballot twice.  Once for the full term and then again for the special election.

The nonpartisan ballots will only include the special election on their ballot for Bohlke and Hickman.

Republican voters countywide will also vote in the runoff between Catherine Sumner Findley and Mark A. Lanier to become solicitor-general of the Bulloch County State Court.

A small portion of the county voters will vote for the Board of Education runoff is between incumbent Heather Mims and challenger Lisa Deloach in BOE District 7.
