Mark Lanier Announces Candidacy for Bulloch Solicitor-General

Mark Lanier, the current Assistant Solicitor-General of Bulloch County and assumed to be acting Solicitor-General announced his candidacy for the job permanently. Mark was appointed by the current Solicitor-General, Joseph Cushner three years ago.

Mark Lanier, the current Assistant Solicitor-General of Bulloch County and assumed to be acting Solicitor-General announced his candidacy for the job permanently.  Mark was appointed by the current Solicitor-General, Joseph Cushner three years ago.

Lanier received his undergraduate at Mercer University and his law degree from Appalachian School of Law.   He was sworn into the Georgia Bar in 2012.  He currently attends Believers Church of Statesboro and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro.

A life long resident of Bulloch County, Lanier’s family resides in Portal where his father Jimmy Lanier operates a farm which was recognized by the Georgia Centennial Farm Program.

“Having been born and raised in Bulloch County, it has been my honor and pleasure to serve as the Assistant Solicitor-General for the past three years.  It is my hope the people of Bulloch County will elect me to serve permanently as Bulloch County’s Solictior-General”, said Mark Lanier.
