Patricia Ann Pye, born January 5, 1939 to the late Alfred and Reba Moore entered rest surrounded by her family, October 14, 2024 at her home. Patricia was a homemaker all her life and raised six kids. She had a passion for cooking for her family and others when sick. She loved God with all her heart and would always serve when needed in her church, Longbranch Church of God, where she was a long time member. Patricia was at her happiest when surrounded by her family. Preceding her in death were her parents, two sons, Jerry and Danny Burke, a daughter, Diane Clayton, a son-in-law, Bennie Hall, a granddaughter, Stephanie Sanders, and two sisters, Sonnie Moore and Mickie Hilman.
Left behind to cherish memories of her are her husband of 51 years, Jimmy Pye; her children, Tommy Burke (Shelia), Susan Hall, Michael Burke (Sherrie), Crystal Bragg (Randy) and Larry Young. In addition, she is survived by many grand and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00am until 11:00am in the chapel of Joiner Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro followed by a memorial service at 11:00am with Reverend Walter Hall and Pastor Randy Bragg officiating.
