Medra “Mickey” Ann Adams Bragg
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Medra Ann Adams Bragg (Mickey) 62 of Portal Ga, after fighting a long battle with medical issues. Her journey ended on November 25th, 2024 in her home, surrounded by many loved ones and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA. Medra was born on November 14, 1962 in Leesburg FL, to Thelma and Hebert Adams.
Mickey was a fun loving and caring person. She enjoyed her life to fullest. Some would say she was the life of the party. Medra enjoyed spending time with her family and friends playing cards, bingo and horseshoe etc. But most all, she loved spending time with her grandbabies. To know Medra was to love her.
Medra is preceded in death by her mother Thelma Adams, Her father Herbert Adams, her sisters Nina Horton, Sue McCullough, Grace McCullough (JC), Lettie Sexton, Billy Adams, Bobby Adams, Dave L Adams, Don Adams (Sandy), and her father in law, Judson Bragg Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Judson Bragg, her son Jt Bragg (Jessica), her daughter, Brittany Bragg (Travis), Jessica Muns (Bubba), her 9 beautiful grandchildren, Cassadee Bragg, Brooklyn Stanley, Nataley Bragg, Leia Tipton, and Sophia Henline, Brayleigh Muns, Raylin Muns, Willie Muns, and Christian Johnson. She is also survived by her Mother in law Wynette Bragg, her brothers and sisters, Barbara Wheeler (Larry) Christine Dempsey, Judy Lindsey, Eddie Adams (Martha) and Cecil Adams, many, many, nieces and nephews and friends.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 29th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
The graveside service will be on Saturday at 11:00am at the Portal City Cemetery with Pastor Thomas Hendrix officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jimbo Adams, Bubba Muns, Toby Bragg, Buck Poucher, Billy Boggs, and Jackie Tidwell
Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Adams, John Horton, and David Adams.
