Ms. Lilly Mander, age 83, entered rest Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.
She was born November 7, 1942, in Savannah, Georgia to the late Willie Mander, Sr., and Dennie Lanier Knight.
Lilly attended the public school system of Orange City, Florida and was a chef and a cook.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Amos Hodge, Jr., four brothers, and a sister.
Those left to cherish her memories are her siblings, George Knight, Orange City, Fl., John Knight and Solie Knight, and Robert (Doris) Hodge, Sr., all of Statesboro, grandchildren, Kameron Hodge, Atlanta, GA., and Reagan Hodge Statesboro, GA, a special niece, Dennie Scott, Statesboro, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held, Friday evening, December 6, 2024, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
The funeral service for Ms. Lilly Mander, will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill['s Mortuary, Inc. with Pastor Melvin Byrd, Officiating . Burial will follow in the Lakeside First Baptist Church Cemetery, Metter, Georgia.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
