Juanita W. Moore

June 3, 1936 - December 15, 2024

With great respect and sympathy, we the staff of Hill's Mortuary, Inc., announce the passing of Mrs. Juanita Moore, who entered rest, Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation Center.  
Juanita W. Moore was born, June 3, 1936, in Sylvania, Georgia to the late Willie and Lizzie Gordon Williams.
She received her formal education in the public school system of Screven County, Georgia, where she attended school at the Simmons Branch Baptist Church.

In her early years she was employed by the White Stage Sewing Company where she retired. After retirement she became a home seamstress and excelled in her sewing.

She was a member of the Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she Is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Moore; siblings, Willie “Tyme” (Mattie) Williams, James “Dank” (Ella Mae) Williams Homer Lee Williams, Walter “Tom” (Daisy) Williams and Myrtis (Henry) Lemon.    

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Vernise Moore, Statesboro, GA, a brother, Corrie (Claudette) Williams, Bridgeton, NJ; her bonus children, Andrew “Jr” Robbins, Janie Gatson, and Pauleen Dingle, a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, from the hours of 5 P.M. to 7 P.m.

The funeral service for Mrs. Juanita Moore will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc. with the Bishop Larry Jones, presiding and the Rev. Kenneth Griffin, Officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastside Cemetery.

Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
