Joe Rocheleau and Jules Shelly with the Georgia Southern Young Democrats hosted Reverend Raphael Warnock and local democratic candidates for the November 3rd General Election. Attending the event in addition to United States Senate Candidate Reverend Raphael Warnock were local democratic candidates. They included candidate for Bulloch County Sheriff candidate Rey Rodriquez, candidate for Georgia State House Representative District 158 Ann Gleason and candidate for the U.S. Congress, District 12, Liz Johnson.
Each candidate discussed their platform and ideas for their campaigns. Video included of the entire event.
Due to COVID restrictions, the crowd size was limited and held outdoors at the RAC Pavillion on the Georgia Southern Campus.
Reverend Warnock grew up in Savannah and is the pastor of Martin Luther King's Church - Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. He is one of 20 candidates running in a special election to replace Johnny Isakson. Governor Kemp appointed Kelly Loeffler to the seat. She is running as the incumbent.
