Fair Week is almost here! Last chance to purchase advance tickets and wristbands this weekend

The beloved Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair is returning to Statesboro the week of October 14, 2024! The traditional fair parade kick off will be Monday, October 14 at 5pm in downtown Statesboro.

This year's parade theme is Footloose at the Fair, and you can find full details here. The Georgia Southern Homecoming Parade will be combined with the Fair Parade this year, as it has been in recent years. If you can't make it in person, Grice Connect will be livestreaming the parade on Grice Connect's Facebook Page and Youtube Channel.

Each year, the purpose of the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair is to bring a fun filled event to the seven-county area surrounding Bulloch County while raising money to give back to the communities that the fair serves.

Money raised at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair stays in Bulloch and several surrounding counties including Jenkins, Tattnall, Screven, Candler, Bryan, and Evans. Funding is provided to many nonprofits that serve these communities. Some of these nonprofits include hospice programs, United Way, schools and school programs like FFA, senior centers, law enforcement agencies, and many more. Come out and have a ball!
