A Statesboro Toyota dealer is using the opportunity of the NFL Draft to promote their brand with a new video. G. Flores is a salesman at Franklin Toyota, and he says he's honored to call Statesboro his new home.
Flores has been in Statesboro for four years. He fell into the car business by accident, and he's happy to promote Franklin Toyota.
Flores promoted the Franklin brand through a contest for a promotional video of the Toyota Crown. The winner of the contest will receive a free ad space on a vehicle. He wasn't going to enter the competition at first, because he was discouraged by how large it was and he didn't think he stood a chance of winning. However, his managers convinced him to participate.
He says the video contest is about more than just trying to win. It's about showing that Franklin Toyota is more than just a go-to dealership.
"We want to remind Statesboro that we are people just like you; we are moms and dads, fishermen and hunters, athletes and spouses. We are your family," Flores said.
He expressed his desire to promote not only the dealership but also the city of Statesboro through his video.
"Even if I don't win, I want as many eyes on Franklin Toyota and Statesboro," he said. "That includes our Hometown Warriors, the Georgia Southern Eagles Football Team #GATA."
