The Bulloch Academy Gators women's soccer team hosted the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans in the first round of the GIAA State Playoffs. The Trojans defeated Bulloch Academy 2-1 to advance further into the tournament.
The two teams battled all the way throughout. It came down to a goal by Tattnall Square Academy in the final minutes of the game. The Lady Gators watched their season come to an end as the ball soared through the right side of the net.
Bulloch Academy finished the season with a 6-6 record. The non-region schedule for the Gators was a guantlet that included a couple top of the teams in Georgia.
Even in the loss, the Gators are looking good for the future. Jordan Taulbee is the only senior currently on the roster.
