Pittman Park UMC offering hot meal, showers and device charging Monday

Pittman Park United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall will be open Monday, September 30 from 1 pm to 7 pm for those needing a place to refresh and recharge after Hurricane Helene.

They are partnering with Feed the Boro, Bulloch VOAD and Fostering Families/7th Mile Farm to provide a hot meal beginning at 5 pm to until the food is gone.

PPUMC Pastor Jonathan Smith says they have power, showers, and AC available for anyone who needs them.

Feel free to stop by, take a break, and recharge.  

The church is located at 1102 Fair Road in Statesboro.

As of Sunday evening the church has served 670 and 320 have used their showers.
