Starting Monday, August 12th, Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief Volunteers will arrive in Bulloch and Evans Counties to provide critical assistance to homeowners impacted by recent flooding. This support will be offered at no cost to the affected residents.

"We will remove anything that the floodwater has touched—furniture, flooring, wallboard, insulation, cabinets, and more," said Dwain Carter, Mission Mobilization/Disaster Relief Director for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. "Our team will also power wash and apply Shockwave sanitizer to inhibit mold growth. All our volunteers are trained, background-checked, credentialed, and uniformed."

Homeowners in need of assistance can request help by contacting the Georgia Baptist Mission Board through the following:

Phone: 770-853-0729
Email: gbcimt1@gmail.com

This initiative is part of the broader ministry of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, with volunteers from across Georgia coming together to bring help, hope, and healing to those in need. "In the middle of storms, God moves," the organization shared. "He calls His people to compassionately respond to those who are most affected, and He moves in the heart of those who are saddened, angry, and lost. It's in moments like this that the Church has the opportunity and privilege to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus."

Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief is dedicated to demonstrating the love of Jesus by meeting the practical needs of communities and families affected by disasters, offering them hope and support during difficult times.
